Refund & Cancellation Policy
Last updated: September 28, 2026
This policy covers monthly and yearly Keychime subscriptions, including Pro, Elite, and team plans. For website purchases, Paddle is our authorized reseller and merchant of record and handles payment support and refunds. Check your receipt to identify who billed you. Keychime product support is available at support@keychime.com.
1. Cancel a web subscription
Open the manage-subscription link in your Paddle receipt and choose cancellation, or request cancellation at Paddle buyer support. Cancel before the next renewal to prevent further charges. Access normally continues until the end of the current paid period. Keep your confirmation.
2. Refund eligibility
Canceling renewal does not automatically refund a payment. We do not offer an unconditional money-back guarantee or automatic prorated refunds for unused days, unused team seats, or a change of mind. This applies to monthly and yearly charges, including renewals, except where your purchase terms, Paddle's policy, or applicable law provides a refund right.
For discretionary Paddle refunds, submit your request within 14 days of the charge. Paddle reviews these individually; this window does not guarantee approval or shorten any statutory deadline. The Paddle Refund Policy and Paddle Buyer Terms describe country-specific withdrawal rights, exceptions and other refund entitlements. Mandatory consumer rights and any greater rights applicable to your purchase are preserved.
3. How to request a refund
Use the support link in your Paddle receipt or visit paddle.net and select Request refund. Provide the purchase email, transaction reference and reason. For team subscriptions, use the purchasing account's details. Do not send passwords or full card numbers. You do not need to delete your account. You can also contact support@keychime.com for help identifying a charge.
4. Technical problems and incorrect charges
Contact support@keychime.com if you cannot access a paid feature, the service does not work as described, or a charge appears duplicate or incorrect. Tell us what happened so we can investigate. You may also contact Paddle directly; seeking support does not waive any refund or consumer rights.
5. Processing and access after a refund
Paddle confirms the decision and processes approved refunds to the original payment method where possible. Its policy provides for processing within 14 days of approval, with separate timing for statutory withdrawals. Your payment provider may take additional time to display the credit. Refunded paid access ends, which can affect all seats on a refunded team subscription.
6. Apple App Store and Google Play purchases
If Apple or Google billed you, use that store to manage cancellation and request refunds. Its policies and applicable consumer rights govern those purchases. See Apple cancellation instructions, Apple refund requests, Google Play subscriptions and Google Play refunds.
7. Account deletion and policy updates
Uninstalling Keychime or deleting your account is not a cancellation request to your payment provider. Cancel with that provider before deleting your account and retain confirmation. See our Privacy Policy for data handling. We may update this page; the policy and purchase terms applicable when you paid govern that purchase, subject to mandatory law. Keep your receipt and a copy of the policy.
